1. Framework and Applicability
All services under the name Lotus Lech reflect independent freelance physiotherapists under § 7a MTD-G. By starting treatment, you accept these terms unless otherwise agreed in writing before the first session.
2. Pre-Treatment Requirements
2.1 Prescription & Eligibility
- A valid prescription is generally required, detailing:
- Diagnosed condition
- Number of sessions
- Type of therapy
- Preventive services for healthy individuals may proceed without prescription. Please disclose any medical concerns.
2.2 Fees & Insurance Reimbursement
- Fees are session-based depending on service complexity, time, and materials. A fee schedule is available upon request.
- You pay the therapist directly and submit the invoice and approved prescription to your insurer for reimbursement. Prior approval is needed.
2.3 Medical Records
Please bring relevant medical reports and imaging to your first session for proper assessment.
3. Treatment Delivery
3.1 Personalized Care
Therapy is tailored collaboratively, covering:
- Treatment objectives
- Scheduling (dates, times, duration, frequency)
- Expected cost and scope
3.2 Included Services
- 1:1 sessions, including assessment and education
- Preparation/customization of therapy aids
- Appointment coordination and documentation
- 10-year record keeping
- Written reports or referrals (additional fees apply)
3.3 Confirmation of Service
Signing the treatment record after each session confirms receipt, necessary for insurance reimbursement.
3.4 Standards of Care
- Legal Compliance: per § 7a MTD-G
- Evidence-Based: Current scientific standards
- Informed Consent: You receive a treatment plan, with agreed modifications
- Confidentiality: Data is confidential and shared only with consent or legal requirement
4. Fees, Payment & Late Charges
4.1 Fee Structure
Fees are listed in the current fee schedule (as of December 2022) and are based on services, time, and materials.
4.2 Payment Options
- Cash, bank transfer, or direct billing through partner hotels
- Late payments incur interest (5%) and reminders (€10/€15/€25)
5. Appointment Changes & Cancellations
- Cancel at least 24 hours in advance via therapist or hotel reception
- Rescheduling allowed up to 4 hours before (not between 16:00–19:00)
- Missed or late cancellations are fully billed and not reimbursed by insurers
6. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate health information
- Follow recommendations and participate actively
7. Termination of Services
- Ends by agreement or prescription expiry. New prescription needed for continuation
- Either party may terminate at any time. Unused, timely-canceled sessions are not billed
8. Health Insurance Process
Submit the approved prescription and therapist’s invoice to your insurer. Reimbursement depends on insurer tariff. Therapists can advise on estimated subsidy.
9. Miscellaneous Provisions
9.1 Valuables
We recommend not bringing valuables. We assume no liability for loss or damage.
9.2 Website Disclaimer
Information on www.lotuslech.com is provided “as-is”. We are not liable for external content.
9.3 Jurisdiction
Unless agreed otherwise, jurisdiction is Bludenz.
9.4 Severability
If any term is invalid, the rest remains in force. Invalid terms will be replaced with valid ones reflecting the original intent.
